Job Description
ORMC, is seeking a Clinical Quality Coordinator to oversee the Stroke Accreditation program and support the Quality Department with general quality initiatives. This role is responsible for assisting with compliance of accreditation standards, developing and maintaining program protocols, and supporting continuous quality improvement efforts. Key responsibilities include managing accreditation processes, conducting audits, facilitating education, training, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes. The Clinical Quality Coordinator is essential in maintaining high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of quality and excellence. This position reports to the Director of Performance Improvement/Quality.
About ORMC:
Odessa Regional Medical Center was founded in 1975 as Odessa Women's and Children's Hospital. Through the years, the hospital grew and evolved into a full-service healthcare facility, and the name was changed to Odessa Regional Medical Center to reflect its larger campus and more comprehensive services. The hospital has 211 beds with approximately 200 physicians and APS on the staff and >700 employees.
Today, ORMC offers a wide spectrum of healthcare services, including advanced diagnostic imaging technology, emergency care, innovative surgical procedures, maternity care including high-risk, comprehensive cardiac services, and general medical care. ORMC has the only dedicated Obstetrics Emergency Department in the region which is staffed with 24/7 on-site board-certified OB/GYN physicians.
Our Specialized Services include general medical and surgical care, behavioral health, maternity and women's health services, pediatrics, cardiology, diagnostic imaging, wound care and emergency care with a 24/7 Level IV Trauma Center.
About the Shift:
8a -5p Monday - Friday
Regulatory Requirements:
1. RN License is required.
2. 1 or more years of previous experience in risk management, legal or insurance-related field. Strong Language Skills.
3. Able to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
4. Additional languages preferred.
5. Strong written and verbal skills
