About ORMC:

Odessa Regional Medical Center was founded in 1975 by 14 obstetricians, pediatricians, and family practitioners as Odessa Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Through the years, the hospital grew and evolved into a full-service healthcare facility and the name was changed to Odessa Regional Hospital in 1995.

In June 2007, Odessa Regional Hospital purchased Alliance Hospital and changed its name to Odessa Regional Medical Center to reflect its larger campus and more comprehensive services. In 2015, ORMC acquired Basin Healthcare Center. The hospital has 225 beds and has approximately 250 physicians on staff and has over 700 employees.

Today, ORMC offers a wide spectrum of healthcare services, including advanced diagnostic imaging technology, emergency care, innovative surgical procedures, maternity care, comprehensive cardiac services and general medical care.

About the position:


Responsible for the planning, management and execution of Talent Acquisition related events and professional meetings supporting community and regional educational organizations and internal internships for two facilities in the Permian Basin area of West Texas. Develop relationship with Community and Regional Education Facilities to attract qualified candidates and interns. Develop and oversee intern programs for ORMC and SMMC. Assist existing recruiting staff as needed.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Lead end to end management of recruiting at education centers and plan and host recruiting events including planning, program management, stakeholder engagement, vendor relationships, systems management, speaker outreach and prep, logistics, curation and content development, marketing, execution, and post event analytics.
  • Map overall success and maximize ROI of events by consistently evaluating metrics, providing insight-based recommendations for actions to continue refining strategy and approach.
  • Manage attendee preparation activities and execution during events.
  • Partner with employer branding and creative services to develop and execute pre-event and post event marketing.
  • Partner with external vendors on program execution maintaining operational excellence.
  • Report out on success and opportunities of each event.
  • Sourcing, creation and tracking of conference marketing materials and swag.
  • Track budget and forecast future spend.
  • Other job duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

  • This role requires 40% travel.
  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
  • Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.

Experience, Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Talent Acquisition experience is preferred.
  • Project Management experience is preferred.
  • Healthcare background is preferred.
  • Ability to develop Marking materials utilizing Adobe Suite tools.
