Sign-On Bonus:
$30K for all RTs; $50K for RTs with NICU experience
About ORMC:
Odessa Regional Medical Center was founded in 1975 as Odessa Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Through the years, the hospital grew and evolved into a full-service healthcare facility and the name was changed to Odessa Regional Medical Center to reflect its larger campus and more comprehensive services. The hospital has 225 beds and has approximately 250 physicians on staff and has over 700 employees.
Today, ORMC offers a wide spectrum of healthcare services, including advanced diagnostic imaging technology, emergency care, innovative surgical procedures, maternity care, comprehensive cardiac services and general medical care.

About the Position:
Responsibilities include maintaining Blood Gas Lab and performing Blood Gases, EKGS, EEGS, Holter monitoring and Stress Tests.Duties include: Processes special test procedures and bills patient accounts; Monitors and corrects miscellaneous and late charges. Coordinates with other hospital departments to ensure compliant patient billing in accordance with Medicare and Medicaid guidelines. Must be proficient in customer service. Assisting the Respiratory Director in compiling and researching information needed to ensure the successful operation of the department. Participates in Performance Improvement activities. Must have respiratory therapy skills in order to help with Respiratory personnel staff shortages or when the workload requires it. Other duties as assigned.
Regulatory Requirements:
- Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Must have knowledge with heart arrythmias.
- Must have the ability to carry on many functions in an organized manner.
- Minimum of one-year experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
- Respiratory Therapy Licenses from TMB
- Certifications as indicated by the Steward Certification document.
