Odessa Regional Medical Center was founded in 1975 as Odessa Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Through the years, the hospital grew and evolved into a full-service healthcare facility and the name was changed to Odessa Regional Medical Center to reflect its larger campus and more comprehensive services. The hospital has 225 beds and has approximately 250 physicians on staff and has over 700 employees.

Today, ORMC offers a wide spectrum of healthcare services, including advanced diagnostic imaging technology, emergency care, innovative surgical procedures, maternity care, comprehensive cardiac services and general medical care.

About the Shift:

About the Position:

Assist in cardiac catheterization as well as vascular and interventional procedures. Perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedure such as IAB and temporary pacemaker insertion. Follow established standards and practices under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist or invasive radiologist. Must be able to train and learn how to perform as an RN in an electrophysiology procedure. Act as a leader in the lab by uplifting and encouraging others with constructive critisicm, taking call as appropriated, and respecting the cath lab and its personnel. Other duties as assigned.

Regulatory Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivilant;
  • Associates Degree in the Applied Science of Nursing
  • Current Registered Nursing Licensure in the State of Texas
